Scott (he/him) (Patchy the Pirate) is thrilled to be performing in Upper Darby Summer Stage’s production of The SpongeBob Musical. Some of his favorite roles include Avram the Bookseller in Fiddler on the Roof, Chief Berry in Nice Work if You Can Get It, and Saint Aphrodisius in The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Scott recently graduated from Temple University, where he majored in Theater with a concentration in Acting and performed in several plays including Shakespeare’s The Two Gentlemen of Verona and Thornton Wilder’s Our Town. He has since worked in the theater industry in Philadelphia and the film industry in Los Angeles. Scott would like to thank his mom, dad, and two older sisters for their love and support, and the cast and crew for making SpongeBob such an incredible experience. And of course his cat, for doing funny cat things.
Sabrina (Squidizen #1, Ensemble) has been participating in theater since she was young across the Delco area, including Summer Stage. This is her first Mainstage production! Some of her favorite past roles include: Lucy Van Pelt (You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown), Mrs. Otter (Wind in the Willows), Eleanor (State Fair), Alice (Hollywood Arms), and more. Jayson (SpongeBob SquarePants) is excited to perform in his first Mainstage show. Jayson has performed in various shows from Upper Darby High School, Children’s Theatre, and Shooting Stars. His favorite roles include: Baby John (West Side Story), Arthur (Flat Stanley, Jr.), Zeke (High School Musical), and Rat (Wind in the Willows). Jayson is grateful to be part of a talented and supportive cast/staff. He is also very thankful for his family and friends that encourage him along the way.
Genevieve Bruce (Ensemble) is thrilled to be back on the Performing Arts Center Stage in her second Mainstage production. Some of her favorite roles include: Marriage Winnie (Tuck Everlasting), Amber Von Tussle (Hairspray), Ariel Moore (Footloose), and Anybodys (West Side Story). She is currently studying law in the DCCC Paralegal program and pursues her passion for makeup as a Beauty Advisor at Sephora. She would like to thank her mom and dad for their constant love and support and Natalie and Kenny for being her very own “BFF’s”.
Sara (Ensemble) is a recent graduate from Saint Joseph’s University where she studied English and Musical Theatre with a Communications Studies minor. She performed and choreographed for the SJU Theatre Company most notably as Susan in Company (2019) and choreographer of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (2022). In August she will be headed to Villanova to begin her Masters in Theatre Arts. She is a choreographer and dance instructor. This is her fourth Mainstage production and seventh show at Summer Stage.
Callan (Ensemble) is very excited to be in her first Mainstage show, The Spongebob Musical. She has been singing and dancing since she could walk and has performed with the Pennsylvania Girls’ Choir, the Upper Darby High School Choir and Encore singers, and Summer Stage’s own Shooting Stars. She would like to thank her parents for supporting her and giving her transportation, her younger brother for being amazing, and everyone else in her life that has helped her get here.
Tess (Patrick’s Girl #1, Ensemble) is thrilled to be performing in her second Mainstage production, SpongeBob! She has been a part of Summer Stage since 2017, performing in Children’s Theatre and Mainstage productions. Tess is going to be a junior in the fall at Saint Joseph’s University majoring in Marketing, and is spending her summer working as a server at Rolling Green Golf Club. She’d like to thank her parents, friends, and staff for granting her the opportunity to perform onstage!
Alexa (she/they) (Plankton’s Crew Dancer, Ensemble) is thrilled to be performing in her second Mainstage production, SpongeBob! is thrilled to be back at SS Mainstage after debuting in Tuck Everlasting last season. As an alum of both Children’s Theatre and Shooting Stars, the energy of SpongeBob the Musical is right up her alley. Currently preparing for their sophomore year at Boston University, Alexa is a double major in Theatre Arts (directing, playwriting) and Philosophy following a scientific track. She would like to thank Summer Stage for creating another memorable summer and the staff of SpongeBob for not kicking her out after missing three weeks of rehearsal 🙂
Maggie (Ensemble) is so excited to be performing in her second Mainstage show this summer after being in Tuck Everlasting last summer. She first came to Summer Stage in 2017, and was a past participant in Children’s Theatre and Shooting Stars. She is going into her second year at the University of Virginia, majoring in Statistics. She has loved her time at Summer Stage, and hopes you enjoy The SpongeBob Musical!
David (Squidizen #3 / Ensemble) is excited to be performing in his second Mainstage show here at Upper Darby Summer Stage. You may remember David as the strong man from Tuck Everlasting or Mr Salt from Willy Wonka Jr. and he is ready for another great year of shows. David would like to dedicate his performance to his great aunt Dolly who unfortunately passed earlier this month. She always loved hearing about his performances and encouraged him to be an excellent performer, and he knows she is watching from the best seat in the house tonight.
This is Aidan‘s (Sandy’s Dancer #2, Ensemble) second Mainstage show! He is playing the role of Cowboy Fish and Johnny the Bartender. Some of Aidan’s favorite shows that he has performed in include Haverford High School’s 9 to 5, with his role of Joe, and UDSS’s Tuck Everlasting, with his role of Marriage Hugo. In addition, Aidan has been in Children’s Theatre performances and productions at the Baldwin School and Hedgerow Theater Company. Aidan is currently studying Computer Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh and is so glad to have the opportunity to come home to perform at Summer Stage this summer. William (Squidward Q. Tentacles) is an actor/ choreographer/ creative artist from the Philadelphia area. His most recent shows have been Pippin (Broadway Theatre of Pitman) and Mamma Mia (Candlelight Theatre), and he has worked as a choreographer for Upper Darby Summer Stage (Disney Around the World) and Wolf Performing Arts Center. He is excited to continue teaching, choreographing, and working in Philly and the surrounding areas. In his free time, he works and works out at Barry’s Bootcamp in Rittenhouse Square and loves watching anything Marvel. He thanks his friends and most importantly his family for their constant support with his non-stop schedule.
Anna (Ensemble) is thrilled to be participating in her third Mainstage show. Previously she has appeared in Big Fish, Tuck Everlasting, The Little Mermaid Jr., and Curious George: The Golden Meatball. She is going into her senior year at Eastern University and majoring in Musical Theatre. Recently she participated at the Philadelphia Theatre Week Opening Ceremony with the cast of Still Here and stage managed Eastern University’s production of Almost, Maine. She would like to thank everyone involved for all the hard work they’ve put into this show and Summer Stage for being the greatest summer home.
Kylie (Pineapple Vanna White #1, Ensemble) is so excited to be back at Summer Stage after spending last summer in the sweetest place on earth! Currently, Kylie is prepping for her move to Florida to participate in the Disney College Program, so if you find yourself at Disney World this fall/winter, stop by and say hi! Previously, she has been featured in many shows at Summer Stage including Big Fish, 42nd Street, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. She has had so much fun this summer creating the world of Bikini Bottom with friends old and new! Sabrina (Sardine Soloist #5, Security Guard #1, Ensemble) is so glad to be back at her summer home for her fifth Mainstage production here at Summer Stage! Growing up in the program, she says it wouldn’t feel like summer without Summer Stage. A SpongeBob fan from childhood, Sabrina is thrilled to have the opportunity to bring Bikini Bottom to life! Daniel (Ensemble) is having the Best Day Ever in his o-fish-al debut at Upper Darby Summer Stage with this incredible show! A recent graduate from Villanova University, Daniel works in Digital Marketing during the day and loves singing & dancing come night! Favorite shows and roles include Singin’ in the Rain (Cosmo Brown), Mary Poppins (Bert), Pride & Prejudice (Mr. Bingley), and Seussical (The Cat in the Hat). Srinath (Electric Skate #3, Sandy’s Dancer #5) is so excited to be skating and flopping in The SpongeBob Musical in his first production since the pandemic began. He’s loved being welcomed into the Summer Stage family and has enjoyed every rehearsal! Previous roles include Josh in Bang Bang You’re Dead and Albert in Newsies. Srinath is a rising junior at Temple University double majoring in Statistics and Music Technology. He can be seen singing in Temple’s low-voiced a cappella group Broad Street Line alongside Roy and Jayson and dancing in competitive Indian dance team Temple Craasfire. He’d like to thank Sarah, Devin, Gina, Mallory, Chantel, and the whole production team for making this whole process an unforgettable experience!
Claire (Pineapple Vanna White #2, Ensemble) is excited to be performing in her fourth Mainstage production! She was previously in Titanic (2011), Big Fish (2019), and Tuck Everlasting (2021). She is also happy to be sharing the stage again with her older sister Olivia. Claire is currently babysitting full time in the summer and is excited to be going on a Disney Cruise in August. She is planning to return to Delaware County Community College to finish her Associates Degree in Psychology. Claire would like to thank her family for their endless love and support.
Olivia (Ensemble) is excited to be in her second Mainstage show at Summer Stage! She was in Tuck Everlasting last summer. She started at Summer Stage in 2012 as a Rising Star and was a dancer in Children’s Theater shows: Willy Wonka, Honk, Aladdin, Disney’s Princesses and Heroes, and The Dinosaur Musical. She is currently a 2nd grade teacher at Saint Francis of Assisi School. She graduated from the University of Delaware in 2021! She has been involved in Catholic Community Choir, Cardinal O’Hara Theatre, and Miss Carmela’s Dance Studio. Her Mom and older sister did Summer Stage, and her two younger sisters are still involved! She loves sharing the stage with her sister Claire in The SpongeBob Musical!

Nigel (Sheldon J. Plankton) has always wanted to do a Mainstage show and is thrilled to be in his first one. Before this, he had his first year at Summer Stage in 2021 and was in The Wind In The Willows as Chief Weasel. Nigel went to Upper Darby High School for high school and is very excited to be able to return once again to perform on the incredible PAC stage.
Michaela (Ensemble) is over the moon to be under the sea at UDSS! Most recently, she was fortunate to perform in Big Fish at Candlelight and Elf the Musical at BTOP. When she’s not singing and dancing on stage, she’s happily teaching kids to fill the world with love through music as a Philadelphia-based music educator. Molly (Ensemble) is so excited for her first production at Summer Stage! She just completed her freshman year at Marymount Manhattan College for a BFA in Acting. Her recent theater credits include The Importance of Being Earnest (Cecily Cardew), Little Women (Meg March), and Cinderella (Ensemble/Fox). Molly danced at CaRu Entertainment as a part of the competition team for 11 years. She is thrilled to be a part of this incredible cast and wants to thank the entire cast, crew and faculty for this experience!
Ryan (Ensemble) is exuberant to be making his Mainstage debut in SpongeBob SquarePants the Musical! Ryan is going into his senior year at Archbishop Carroll High School, where he thrives in the Theater Society, swims on the swim team, and fearlessly leads as the student council president. Recently, Ryan has played Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Lucas in Addams Family, and an Ocean Dancer in Moana Jr. here at Summer Stage. Ryan has also become a member of Upper Darby’s very own Shooting Stars, and is ready to perform Steppin’ Out at any given moment. Between school and rehearsals, Ryan loves playing Gershwin on piano, going to see the Philadelphia Orchestra, and of course, spending quality time with his friends and family. Philipe (Sardine Soloist #1, Security Guard #2, Ensemble) Philipe Jean-Louis is so thrilled he is making his debut performance at Mainstage with the production of SpongeBob the Musical! Philipe has passionately performed on stage since the age of 11 being introduced to the world of theater by joining his grade school drama club, which changed his life forever and landed him here at his Happy Place called Summer Stage! With this being his sixth season, some of his favorite roles he’s been honored to play are Pigeon (Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus) Cowardly Lion (Wizard of Oz), James (Roller Coaster Ride to Happiness), Candy Man (Willy Wonka Jr.), and Pabbie (Frozen Jr.) Philipe just graduated this year from Monsignor Bonner and Archbishop Prendergast and will be continuing his education by majoring in Vocal Performance at the University of the Arts! He would like to thank his teacher and mentor Jami Green, his Shooting Stars/Summer Stage Family, and his friends and family, especially his Mother and Sister for always being so supportive and amazing to him to further his dreams!
Master (Electric Skate #2, Sandy’s Dancer #6) is more than excited to be in his first Mainstage show at Upper Darby Summer Stage. Master has been acting since the age of 13. Some of his notable roles were: The Tin Man (The Wizard of Oz Jr.), Kristoff (Frozen Jr.), John The Baptist/Judas (Godspell), and Dimitry (Anastasia). Just graduated from Bonner & Prendie High School, Master is off to the University of the Arts this fall. Myles (Larry the Lobster) is so excited to be making his Mainstage debut this summer. Myles has been acting on stage since the age of nine and began his journey with Summer Stage in 2017 with Shrek Jr. Some of his favorite roles include: Willard Hewitt (Footloose), Bullfrog (Honk Jr.), Uncle Fester (The Addams Family), and Juror 7 (12 Angry Jurors). Myles attended Marymount Manhattan College for Acting this past year and will be transferring to Temple University to study theater in the fall. Kennedy (she/her) (Sandy Cheeks) is thrilled to be making her Summer Stage debut as Sandy Cheeks! Recent credits include a Little Lamb (Big Fish), Serena (Legally Blonde), and Nina (In the Heights). Kennedy teaches private voice in Philadelphia and is currently also Music Directing Something Rotten! at Players Club of Swarthmore. Molly (she/her) (Mayor of Bikini Bottom) is honored to be representing her fellow citizens as Mayor of Bikini Bottom. You may have seen her in the 2021 Mainstage production of Tuck Everlasting as Mae Tuck or at the ticket window at the Summer Stage Box Office. She studies Theater at Muhlenberg College and was most recently seen as Jemilla in their production of Starkid’s Firebringer. Jack (Old Man Jenkins, Pirate, Ensemble) is proud to be doing another fantastic Mainstage production! Believe it or not, this will be his third Nickelodeon show (as he performed in Summer Stage’s Rugrats Live and Dora The Explorer Live). He has also had the pleasure of performing in several Mainstage productions, including his favorites; Shrek, Hunchback of Notre Dame, 42nd Street, & Big Fish. Marie (Plankton’s Crew Dancer, Ensemble) is a professional dancer and choreographer working in the Philadelphia area. She is so excited to be back at Summer Stage performing in The SpongeBob Musical. Marie holds a BFA in Dance and BA in Strategic Communication from Temple University. Most recently, Marie performed in the original cast of CoComelon Live! and at Walt Disney World. This summer Marie choreographed Elf Jr. Favorite MainStage roles include Teenage Winnie/Ensemble (Tuck Everlasting), Ensemble (42nd Street), and Robyn/Chorus Girl (Nice Work if You Can Get it). Sean (Squidizen #4, Ensemble) is excited to be doing his first Mainstage show. He is going into his sophomore year at Widener University. Sean has been part of the Summer Stage program since 2014. His favorite role from Summer Stage was Mort in Madagascar, a Musical Adventure back in 2017. He most recently was in Junie B. Jones as Mr. Scary and in Spookley the Square Pumpkin as a dancer last year.
Leslie (Patrick’s Girl #3, Ensemble) is thrilled to be back at Summer Stage after her 2-year Mainstage hiatus! Seen in Mainstage shows like Big Fish (Ensemble), 42nd Street (Ensemble), in Children’s Theater shows years prior, Leslie has been loving every minute putting this fun and splashy show together! Leslie recently graduated from West Chester University with her BA in Theatre with a Musical Theatre Concentration and minors in Dance and American Sign Language. As well as working backstage at Summer Stage last summer as the Assistant Stage Manager of The Wizard of Oz TYA and the Stage Manager of the 2019 Dance Troupe and Cabaret Showcase, Leslie made her Off-Broadway Showcase debut last summer at the Open Jar Institute in New York City! Leslie wants to thank her outstanding cast and crew, her boyfriend Myles Martin (Lighting Designer) for working on a Mainstage show together for the first time, and her parents and little sister Kelly for their endless support!

Flynn (Ensemble) is thrilled to be performing in his second Upper Darby Summer Stage Mainstage production! This is his seventh summer at Summer Stage. Flynn is a second-year B.A. Theatre Studies student at Penn State University and loves to perform in their School of Theatre. He is a member and is the Chair of Choreography for Penn State’s all-male acapella group, The Statesmen. He has playedsuch roles as Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at Teen Arden, Billy Flynn in Chicago, and Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden, both at Strath Haven High School. He was a member of the Keystone State Boychoir for 8 years and performed in notable venues such as the Academy of Music and St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice, Italy. He would like to thank his family and friends that have helped him on his journey.

Roy is entering his Junior year at Temple University, where he studies Music Education and sings in the all-tenor-and-bass a cappella group Broad Street Line. After having his senior year musical cancelled due to the pandemic, Roy is looking forward to being back on stage for the first time in three years. Caroline (Pearl Krabs) is so excited to be in her very first Upper Darby Mainstage show! She is originally from Annapolis, Maryland, but she is currently a rising senior at Saint Joseph’s University where she is a Musical Theater major along with an Art Therapy and Special Education minor. Some of her recent credits include Fastrada in Pippin, Logainne in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,and Joan in Fun Home. Gina (Karen the Computer) is so pumped to be a part of the under-the-sea world that is Bikini Bottom! Gina choreographed for the Rising Stars program this year at Summer Stage and will be a senior in the fall at Wagner College, where she studies Theatre Performance. During the spring semester, she spent three months in Arezzo, Italy, traveling and studying physical theatre. Gina would like to thank the cast, staff, and crew for making her dreams of being a part of her favorite childhood TV show come true! Gina (Patrick’s Girl #2, Ensemble) is happy to be back performing at Upper Darby Summer Stage. This is her first Mainstage production. You may have seen her on stage during her time at Cardinal O’Hara High School, in Summer Stage’s 2019 production of High School Musical (Cheerleader), or in Dance Troupe. This is Paul’s (Ensemble) first time doing Mainstage, and he is very excited to perform. He started his Summer Stage career in 2019 in Children’s Theatre, with Seussical Jr., and he also performed last year in The Wizard of Oz Jr. as well as Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. After Spongebob, Paul will be heading to Temple University in August. He’s ready for his next step in life, but still plans on returning next summer to perform with his friends once more.
Emma (Sardine Soloist #2, Ensemble) is overjoyed to be back this summer taking part in her fourth Mainstage production. From attending shows as an audience member to performing in them with some of her best friends, Emma has been a part of the Summer Stage family for as long as she can remember. You may have seen her in last year’s Mainstage production of Tuck Everlasting as Mother or during her time working on the staff of A Year with Frog and Toad and Elliot and the Magic Bed of Summer Stage’s Children’s Theatre program. She is a senior Nursing student at the University of Scranton and enjoys reading, soccer, and Ultimate Frisbee. Thank you to friends, family, and the wonderful production crew who put this together.
Angela (Mrs. Puff, Ensemble) is ecstatic to show audiences what this awesome cast has to perform. Angela has been at Summer Stage for four magical years, performing in Shrek Jr. (Ensemble), The Lion King Jr. (Ensemble), A Year With Frog and Toad (Denoted Dancer), Seussical Jr. (Wickersham Brother), Willy Wonka Jr. (Grandma Georgina), and the virtual Mainstage performance in 2020. She is currently attending Temple University, studying for a Bachelor of Science in Music. Outside of rehearsal, Angela enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and crocheting. She looks forward to being on stage for her first live Mainstage performance and can’t wait to continue the program for years to come.

Jayson (Ensemble) is thrilled to be a part of The SpongeBob Musical! Being able to participate in a show this energetic and exciting during the summer has been a blessing for him. As a BFA Musical Theatre Major at Temple University, Jayson has worked on As You Like It and Music Theatre International’s All Together Now! Concert, and he will be understudying the role of Luke in Dance Nation in the fall. This show has been a beast to work on, and he would like to thank Sarah, Devon, Gina, Mallory, and the entire production team for their amazing work and dedication. He would also like to thank the full cast for being so welcoming and making the rehearsal evenings so worth it. Special thanks go out to family and friends for consistent love and support, and Roy and Srinath for joining him on the adventures from college to Summer Stage!
